These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Shiny Happy Campers ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer"). By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Services
Shiny Happy Campers provides mobile vehicle cleaning services for motorhomes, campervans, vans and similar vehicles across South Wales. Services include Regular Clean, End of Season Clean and Start of Season Clean as described on our website.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we have accepted your request by phone, email or message and agreed a date, time and price. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion. We will confirm your appointment details in writing where possible.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices vary depending on vehicle size, type and condition and will be agreed before work begins. We will provide a quote based on the information you provide. Final pricing may be adjusted if your vehicle differs significantly from the description given. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.
We accept payment by cash, bank transfer or such other methods as agreed. VAT is charged where applicable.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We will never cancel your appointment due to weather. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible and at least 24 hours where you can. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be subject to a charge to cover travel costs already incurred.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule in circumstances beyond our control (e.g. vehicle breakdown, family emergency). We will always notify you as soon as possible and will reschedule at your earliest convenience at no extra charge.
5. Access & Vehicle Condition
You are responsible for ensuring we have safe and lawful access to your vehicle at the agreed time and location. Please ensure the vehicle is accessible and that any items stored on or around it that may obstruct our work are moved in advance.
If the vehicle's condition is significantly worse than described at booking (e.g. extreme dirt, mould, or damage), we may revise the price with your agreement before proceeding. We reserve the right to decline to clean vehicles in an unsafe or unsanitary condition.
6. Our Equipment & Methods
We do not use pressure washers or lean ladders against vehicles. We hand-wash all vehicles using professional-grade products appropriate for leisure vehicles. We reserve the right to use our professional judgement regarding which products and methods are most appropriate for your vehicle.
7. Insurance & Liability
We are fully insured for public liability. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our negligence during the cleaning process, please notify us immediately with photographs and we will work with you to resolve the matter fairly.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage, faults or defects to the vehicle
- Items left inside or on the vehicle
- Damage caused by pre-existing loose fittings, seals or fixtures
- Loss or damage not arising from our direct actions
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
8. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition at the time of booking
- Ensure safe access to the vehicle at the agreed time
- Notify us of any known defects, loose fittings or areas of concern before we begin
- Pay for services as agreed
9. Satisfaction
We take pride in every clean. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please tell us at the time or contact us within 24 hours of the service being completed. We will do our best to address any concerns.
10. Photographs
We may take before-and-after photographs of your vehicle for quality control and marketing purposes (including our website and social media). We will not identify you personally in any such photographs. If you do not wish us to use photographs of your vehicle, please let us know before the service begins.
11. Privacy
We process your personal data (name, contact details, vehicle information) solely for the purpose of providing our services and communicating with you. 12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
